Cancellation & refunds
This page explains how cancellations and refunds work on JuxTravel, and where to find the policies that apply to your booking.
The three policies a host can set
Every listing carries one of these. Whichever applied when you booked is saved with your booking, so it cannot change underneath you.
These are the rules the app applies today. You see the one that applies to your stay on the listing, before you book, and again at checkout.
04Cancelling a booking
If a booking is cancelled, the booking status will show as Cancelled.
- Cancellations can be initiated by the guest or the host based on the rules of the applicable cancellation policy.
- House rules for the listing also apply.
05Payment not completed
Payment cancellation can occur before a booking is confirmed.
- If payment is not completed, the booking will not be confirmed.
- No charge will be made in this case.
06Refund status
If a booking is eligible for a refund based on the applicable cancellation policy:
- The booking will show a cancelled and refunded status.
- Any eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
- If the booking was not charged, there will be no refund.
07Passport membership refund
JuxTravel Passport currently offers a 14-day refund.
- The exact terms and eligibility criteria are pending approval.
08Experiences / add-ons
Experiences and add-ons are subject to the cancellation policy of the listing or experience provider.
- Exact terms, eligibility and refunds are pending approval.
09Contact support
If you need help with a cancellation or refund:
- Open a support ticket from the app.
- Our team will assist you with your request.
